private cardiologist recommended in London?

Hi I seem to be experiencing a bout of pericarditis or something over the last 4 days - I had a bad episode of peri about 20 years ago following a virus. The GP has put me on referal list for an echocardiogram but has told me it will be months before I’m seen. Im keen to get a diagnosis quickly as feeling fragile.

Can anyone here please recommend a cardiologist in London to see privately for an echocardiogram and review ?

I did a search and found a link to a cardiologist dr Kosta Chouliatas who appears to do a consultation, echocardiogram and report for just over £300.. anyone know of him?

Hi, yes I recommend 2 London Cardiologists: Mr Anthony De Souza (the Royal Brompton) did my surgery, but also I am/was under Dr Navtej Chahal for initial investigions (Northwick Park hospital Harrow) who is both lovely and brilliant (both are).

Both work privately: Dr Nav Chahal is a good first stop as you are not looking for surgery - and he referred me to De Souza once it was known I needed a valve repair. I hope this helps. You are wise to get onto it as quickly as possible.

I saw Dr Rodney Foale of Harley St. He’s an excellent cardiologist and a top bloke. (And charges less than other prices quoted here…)
