hi all it’s been over 12 months since my uncle had his surgery, does anyone still get odd pains where the pacemaker is located like sharpness. He does have a Hiatus hernia as well which don’t help. He’s had X-rays and nothing is wrong.
Also he’s been put back on blood pressure tablets, he’s got AF. I am losing faith in nhs after my own issues.

I do not know the answer about the pacemaker but if he has had tests and everything has come back fine I would imagine it will be others that have had pacemakers will come along and give you some feedback
I am sorry you have had your own issues I hope they are better now
I would like to wish you a Happy New Year to you ad your family especially your Uncle who has done so well x
Hi I have a CRT-D device. Mine sometimes burn at the site and stings but it’s when it’s resynchronising, when I have an abnormal rhythm. Other than that I don’t get any pains and even forget I have it most times.
Most devices are there because they’re doing a job so maybe that’s what he’s feeling. If they’ve investigated and found nothing then it must be something else. Maybe he’s laying near it during when he’s sleeping so the next day it’s sore. Also as he asked if his AFib could be causing the pain along with the other things he as going on.
I wish you both all the best and a happy and healthier New Year.
