Mini Stroke Post Heart Attack

Hi folks

Was just wondering if this has happened to anyone? I’ve had a couple of “funny turns” recently and a particularly bad one on Thursday evening which ironically was exactly one year to the day since my HA.

Ended up in A&E all night getting various tests. ECG, bloods x 2 (initial troponin high but then fine) , chest X-ray and a brain scan. All inconclusive to what had happened but appeared to be a seizure of some sort. Back to hospital today seeing a neurologist and stroke specialist who confirmed it wasn’t a seizure, but a transient ischemic attack (TIA or “mini-stroke”) . Bit of a shock but apparently at risk post HA.

Just interested if anyone on the forum had suffered similar?

Thanks.
