hello. My partner had HA a few days ago (they home and doing well)

What’s best advice for post HA care? My anxiety levels are high. I suppose still in shock.

Thanks

There is lots of useful information on the BHF website. A good diet and gentle exercise are probably the best way forward, but ask advice from the professionals involved. All cases are different.

It often happens that partners/families of HA sufferers feel more upset than the actual patient. If your partner is offered a cardio rehab course, see if you can go along too. It was encouraged on my course. Try not to be too protective. Your partner will probably know what they feel comfortable doing.
