Have been quite worried since I were very active before my 2 stents were placed in my heart in July and not been able to be as active since. Been having difficulty swallowing and lots of discomfort in my chest plus "indigestion" ( "which I had before but seems worse") . Also I get tired very Quickly, like I must go nap now, not wait , that's been worrying. Speaking of which it's 10.40pm I must sign off and get to bed, Goodnight and thank you for reading

Welcome to the forum, I hope you will find us all to be a friendly bunch. I have been blown away by the wealth of knowledge on this forum and the kindness of others, especially during difficult times!
I don’t have any experience of stents but I do experience the fatigue that you describe but ironically find it difficult to switch off at night.
I’m sure others will be along soon with more relevant experiences but I just wanted to say hi and you’re not alone.
Hi Shonna, just like to welcome you to this forum and thankyou for posting. It sounds like to me, because you had heart health issues not long ago it's had an effect on your stomach and chest. I have the same problems as you are the moment . I have chest pressure and have to put up with that every day, I have upper abdominal pain since the 26th October and my chronic anxiety is though the roof. Also can't seem to swallow my medication as it feels like it's getting stuck. Theses symptoms you are experiencing could be a early sign of some sort of Anxiety you are experiencing. I didn't really know what anxiety was untill It happened to me, in fact it was a panic attack in the early hours and found myself outside trying to get my breath. There is always someone one here to talk about any problems you are experiencing. Take care.
Have you been prescribed anything for acid reflux? Heart meds can result in indigestion symptoms. Might be worth discussing with your gp/consultant. Hope things settle for you soon
Hello Shonna and welcome, don’t be hard on yourself give yourself time, I too suffer with feeling tiredness but when it comes on it’s instant and I just need to close my eyes even just for 10 minutes, if you feel things are not right please contact your doctor or nurse and tell them what you are experiencing
Hi it’s still very early days. I had 3 stents in March and have been suffering with the things you mention. Chest pain, swallowing the feeling of something stuck in my throat. All been checked and all ok. I would contact your doctor and have a check up a lot of my symptoms were due to medication. One culprit being Lansoprazole. The doctor told me that even though it wasn’t open heart surgery stents take a while to settle as your body thinks they are foreign bodies. I had my heart attack in September last year and would just love to wake up one morning and things be back to normal. good luck to you ❤️
Maybe try famotidine instead of lansoprazole. I can't take the "zoles" at all. You should normally be givensomething to protect your stomach especially if you take aspirin or similar.
Hi Shonna welcome. I don’t know anything about stents but I know how you feel wanting to nap now. I could be talking to someone and the next minute waking up to hours lost so I know that feeling. It’s like a tiredness takes hold of me suddenly and that’s it sleep. I always think whilst sleeping my battery, body, is charging to give me more energy.
I can relate exactly to you and your description of how and what you are feeling and experiencing. I had a Stent late July and even up until 4 weeks ago I was feeling more tired (after a period of increased exercise which was going well) and also feeling the heartburn like I had leading to my HA, and breathlessness.
I spoke to my Cardiologist and she prescribed me Ranzoline 375mg, and within 2 weeks I have seen 90% improvement. If all ok in a few weeks she will increase to 500mg and may take me off some of my other meds. When I mentioned this to my cardiac nurse in the recovery team she said she was a massive fan of this medication as it was so affective.
It's not for all I can only go on my own experience but worth having a chat with your Cardio Team in the first instance xx
