The most common side effects include headaches, flushing, feeling tired and swollen ankles. These usually improve after a few days. Amlodipine can also be called amlodipine besilate, amlodipine maleate or amlodipine mesylate.

I am sending this because it says most about the side effects of Amlodipine. The most common side effects include headaches, flushing, feeling tired and swollen ankles. These usually improve after a few days. Amlodipine gave me swollen ankles and calves and it felt like I was walking on marshmallows so the Doctor took me off them. I am now on a lower dose of 5mg. I now get no side effects that bother me. So Sir I would like to tell you "Drink a pint of the Wetherspoons Ruddles Best Bitter every day and keep the bowels open and trust in the Lord". (I always say "A joke a day keeps the Doctor away".) The best of health and happiness to you all. Tony Booker.
