Hi allI had a double bypass 12 years ago.

Just recently I have been getting a sharp stabbing pain above my right breast. It comes and goes.

Any ideas?

Hello :-)

It could be anything really but as it is something new I would get it checked out

I am sorry I cannot help answer your question more but I hope you will let us know how you get on :-) x

Hi if the pain / issue is new to you and keeps happening even if on and off it’s always worth a discussion with a doctor. 👍

I had a CABG x 4 in 2017 and by this year 3 of the 4 venous grafts had failed, resulting in my having 6 stents being inserted in June. The stents so far appear to be working well - the technology has come a long way; together with medication I’m feeling fine, my energy and fitness levels have materially improved. You should consult a cardiologist and get a thorough check-up.
