hi all i new to hear but recently experienced the worst 2 months of my life where i thought i was having a heart attack

After 6 ecgs and a 72 hour heart monitor i am all clear but the anxiety will not go away

The doctor said they are from mainly anxiety and the stress ive put myself through ive never had them before

Do they gradually get better and go away ?

i seem to get them alot just flutters too sometimes i have propanalol but hate taking them but maybe now ive calmed down and know im not dying i may feel better taking them

Just looking to see if anyone has had a similar experience

Hi and very warm welcome to you to this forum 😊I think alot of us on here have had the same experience as you with ectopic beats. I know that for me stress and anxiety was a massive trigger I think it started properly bout 2 years ago for me, I went shopping I came back and my palpitations were crazy my heart was going mad so I tried to forget about it have dinner but then I got pains in my chest so I went to A&E and they did bloods, chest Xray and ECG and it didn't pick anything up so I thought ok this must be phycological, fast forward a year and I had many tests and holter monitors and eventually it picked up the ventricular Tachycardia which usually wouldn't have been a big deal but because I was feeling light headed with the ectopic beats they put me on verapamil 40mg x2. I really hope you can get to the bottom of this because I remember this was driving me crazy the slightest movement would trigger it and when I tried to sleep my heart was going crazy and the palpitations was keeping me awake 💔 so I really feel for you so much. Let us know how you get on with finding out what's causing this x hopefully some other members will be along soon to give you there experience! ❤️😉

Thankyou fir welcoming me and the info above i was in the less than 1 percent bracket for a slight eptopic beat so they arent moving forward now which i understand i guess hopefully the anxiety will just get better and now i can excercise again that will help
