I have had a tickly, dry cough as a previous side effect of a medication. If you read the patient information leaflet, it should give you a list of the possible side effects that can take place. If it’s bothersome and doesn’t pass after some time, check in with your GP for an alternative.
This is a common side effect of Ramipril an ACE inhibitor prescribed for high blood pressure. There are alternatives, ask you GP to change it. Best wishes.
I’d been on Ramipril for a long time before I persuaded my GP to change it. I eventually changed to an ARB, Candesartan, and had no problems after that. But you are right Keepmewell should make sure there is not another cause.
