GTN was taken every 1 or 2 days blood pressure coming up...but same time taken blood pressure tablets and other tablets from hospital include Clopidogrel 75mg

i had to investigate my self what is wrong with me private specialists and pay alot of money, this was going an going, the last visit was a Neurology, many tests and at the end the results ...brain cluster-cluster headaches..he told me to stop all medications from hospital, because they damage me ,specialy to stop the GTN spray, they are treating heart attack but you are clear, taking this medications will hurt you more, thats why you have now brain cluster beacuse of this medications..im sleeping in computer chair for 4 months becuase cant sleep on bed putting my head down...when pain comes feel like to kill my self to stop this big headaches..hard to understand how i feel..i was a normal person with my life, after this wrong medications for 6 -7 moths taken they damage me alot...both 2 hospitals were wrong and why they gave me all this medications not having heart attack...my life is change..

I am so sorry this has happened to you. There is no answer. I had an operation that went wrong, surgeon to blame. I tried the legal route but in the end they blamed me for coughing as I came round from the anaesthetic. They close ranks, they are not to blame and never will be.

I dont know if you have something like a patients advocate service there, but it may be worth looking into. I dont know anything about the headaches, but know a friend who had cranial massage for a while that helped her.

I know this is not much help, but sending you a hug.

In my opinion, you could sue for medical incompetence. I believe your neurologist is right and he or she should have a written report on these findings. An attorney would find that helpful. As an RN, I see this negligence is mostly due to lack of communication among medical personal, physicians and nurses, and mainly short staffing.

I sincerely hope that you find a good doctor who will help with your brain cluster-cluster headaches. You shouldn't have to suffer like that.

I always tell my patients that they have the right to refuse medications until they fully understand why they are being given them and also to get second opinions from other doctors. Hopefully you will get your health back. 🙏

Unfortunately, doctors do have different opinions and I found that to be the case over the last 5 months or so.

I had quite a severe chest pain right across my upper chest that subsided after about 15 minutes. Later I walked down to my doctor's surgery and was advised to go to a hospital's 'Urgent Treatment Centre'. Subsequently, my blood pressure was taken by a stressed nurse, and was Systolic over 180 though they seemed not bothered. I had an ECG and my heart checked by a doctor who just said they could not take a blood sample that day.

So eventually 3 hours later I arrived at the 'Accident and Emergency Department' of Hospital number 2 - I would leave this hospital 10 hours later at 6 am.I was given a letter from Hospital number 1 to be given to Hospital number 2 . I handed it in but somehow they lost it.

My blood pressure was taken again and my systolic reading was 168. I then had a second ECG (electrocardiogram) followed by two samples of blood taken. Many hours later I saw doctor number 2 who said I had a distinct heart murmur though there were no signs of a Heart Attack. I then had a chest x-ray that showed nothing suspicious. Followed by a third blood test.

A few days later I saw my own doctor - Doctor Number 3, who said she could not hear any heart murmur. My Systolic blood pressure reading was 126. Doctor number 2 gave me a sheet of paper listing all the results to be given to my own doctor who later spoke to doctor number 2. I was given a Nitrolingual Pump Spray for suspected Angina and 75mg Aspirin.

After this, I went to hospital number 1 for an Echocardiogram, and the results I was told by my surgery were normal and there was no need to see the doctor.

I had an Upper G1 Endoscopy requested by Doctor Number 2 at Hospital Number 1. The doctor Number 4 saw no cancer but there were a number of stomach polyps and three months later these were found in a biopsy not to be polyps and were Gastric Mucosa.

So 5 months later I do not have much of a clue what is going on. However, I've now had a fourth blood test and am awaiting results - this is a two-year test due to taking Ramipril.
