i have heart condition -icd fitted 8 years ago.

recovered well after icd fitted -did light exercise program at hospital -gradually improved- was back 2 virtually normal -swimming + using gym .

Relapse occurred 3 years ago -hospitalized-then after discharge --much reduced activity levels--this has meant course of steroids--now being reduced--over this period -continual breathlessness

has robbed me of my normal life--i keep getting told im on the correct medications but not being able 2 walk more than short distance without having stops +gasps doesnt feel anything like correct 2 me.

In short,if anyone else has any solutions 4 this dispiriting condition-i would be very grateful.

Good morning happyhours. Any shortness of breath like your experiencing isn't right. And needs looking into. I should go back to your doctor and find out what is going on. Take care and let us know how you get on. Brian

Yes I know the feeling I was a lot happier with my Respiratory clinic before I moved out of the area. But got not much faith in my new one now. Hope you get things sorted out soon. Brian
