from nothing to bypass!!

so had another angiogram today following a Myoview perfusion test that showed some lack of blood to the heart!

consultant advised unlikely anything to worry about and likely a false positive on the scan

just come out of catheter lab having been told I either need a complex stent or a bypass!!

Not what I was expecting and a massive blow when I thought was on road to recovery !!

I am sorry you have had such a shock after feeling you were doing so well it must feel like a massive blow and will take you a while to come to terms with the new diagnosis

But think on a positive note if you possibly can that they have found you need one or the other doing could have been worse had they not picked it up

You will get one done and then you will be back doing well again with that peace of mind it is all sorted x

I came out of Cat Lab feeling great, told 3 days later I needed a new heart valve. That went in 8 weeks ago. And then they added 'we'll do a bypass on another artery as well'. I wasn't allowed home in between. Just think ahead in terms of what you will be able to do in the future and be thankful the problem has been found.

Yeah I am trying to be positive, was bad enough being told I have CAD at 40 but this just seems worse now !!

Oh and to top it off I have Covid !!
