I am feeling very anxious at the moment. I had a bad weekend, as the fatigue was unbelievable and I could hardly get out of bed. I did think I was going to go to sleep and not wake up! I have improved today and not so tired (although I have just had a 2hr biddy nap!). I am getting anxious about “getting things ready” for what I know will happen one day.
I am having an iron infusion on Friday, which I am sure the low iron count is having a big effect on my mental state.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

Sleep is a good thing... your body is taking time to repair itself... I think low iron has this affect?
I was recently put in Diazepam along with a few other drugs for a Urinary Tract Infection - so painful, I thought it was a pulled muscle... but GP was right, and am feeling better now... but the drugs zonked me out good and proper... must have slept from 11:00-17:00 three days on the trot, as well as a normal nights sleep... as I say I feel better for it.
I guess it comes down to learning our new limits and listening to our bodies... keep a record, and discuss with your GP next time you see them... there might be alternative meds?
I am sorry about your diagnosis but the treatments they have now the worry that we all would feel and think about hopefully you can try and put to one side as you could be here for many years to come and so try and take each day at a time , enjoy the good ones the ones that are not so good go with them and try and find the new you as you are now embrace it and enjoy it easy to say harder to do but so many manage to do so and are enjoying their new adapted lifes to the full
I hope you will find what yours is and enjoy it to and if you need to talk you know we are here x
