Hi, Needing some advice, my husband had a CRT-P device implanted 2 weeks ago. It’s early days and he is doing ok but still feeling very tired. The site is healing well but still some bruising. Can anyone offer their experiences with recovery and is the tiredness normal.

Experiencing a little sweating on a night.

Thank you in advance 😊

I suggest you also talk to the BHF Heart Helpline nurse who can offer advice based on professional experience. Everyone on here is different and their responses to medical treatment will be different too.

I had a pacemaker fitted six weeks ago and what I am finding is that I am a bit better everyday. Originally I was quite tired but that has almost gone now. Wound is healing well but still uncomfortable especially when I first get up in the morning. It is also a bit sore too. But everyday is getting better. But if you are unsure then phone your pacing clinic.
