Hello everyone, I'm 75 years old and I had an NSTEMI at the end of April and was put on Ticagrelor. However over the last few weeks I was becoming more and more breathless so saw a Gp on Monday and was changed to Clopidogrel. I seem to be improving slowly but now I have a new problem. My Gp informed me that my calcium levels are still too high. I've been looking up foods to cut out but find calcium seems to be in most foods, even in vegetables. I eat very little dairy so not sure what else I can do. Would be greatful for any suggestions, Aquagran

Hi Aquagran
My mum suffers with high calcium, she has done for many years. She is waiting on an operation to remove a gland from her neck which they believe is causing it.
Dairy contains high levels of calcium, maybe try diary free products if you haven’t made that change already.
I hope others will come by with suggestions.
All the best.
