Hi,

I live in the Newcastle/northumberland area and I’m wondering if anyone knows of any groups /events or get togethers with people who have heart problems?

I’m not particularly sure what kind of get together you’re looking for, but there are charity runs organised by the BHF which people participate in. I believe there is one in your area, Newcastle, in September 2023. I’ve attached the link below should you find it’s of any interest to you.

As I’m not from that part of England, I couldn’t offer any advice on heart groups within the community.

hi. I’m from the same area 👋 I’ve never looked for groups in the area but if I hear of anything I’ll certainly let you know.

Have a look in your local paper, often you'll find support groups advertise locally. Or you could ask your surgery/local hospital cardiology dept if they're aware of any, there's often posters etc on the walls advising of local support groups. Good luck in finding one 🤞
