Hi Granny,

On the reply box there's a button for adding a photo... you can only add one at a time, but we just reply multiple times if there's more than one picture.

Or if you're starting a new post, look for the same icon.

if it’s an Avatar photo that you would like to add, go to your profile. (On my iPad this is at top right.) Then choose ‘update profile’ from the drop down menu.

Next, click on the existing avatar (the wee smiley face) to ‘add new avatar’. You will get a warning not to give away any personal information. Click through again and you will see the option to select a photo from your library.

thank you. There is never a day in the year where something is not in flower and I always pick the flowers for the Christmas table that morning.

I only have the ‘lawn’ cut every two weeks but not too short so that in summer it is buzzing with bees because of all the clover. We have chaps in to mow the lawn but I do everything else except my husband does the bonfire and the sawing of anything more than a couple of inches.

I must admit I am pleased with it. I made the garden myself and it has only taken 55 years to do so. Am lucky in that I have old walls but that is why we bought the house. It was a rather overgrown plot with brambles and bindweed. Most things have been grown from cuttings or rescued plants. I never dig unless to plant- just weed and prune back. It is mayhem out there everything trying to smother its next door neighbour. Badly need rain.

I have only been in my bungalow 12 years and it was a jungle . It has improved a lot but will not get any where near as nice as yours as I am afraid I don't have another 43 years left unless I reach118. Mine has got into a mess too this last year as I wasn't well enough to work in it I have a lady gardener coming next week to tidy up the back border for me and I am hoping now I am recovering from having a aortic valve replacement I will be well enough to keep on top of it

my great fear is that i may not be able to keep on top of it because what is for sure is that if i ever let it go i will never have the strength to get it back again.

little and often has to be the answer. Good luck with it. Always good to get outside providing you wear a large sun stopping hat

what a gorgeous garden! It must uplift your spirits every time you open the curtains. You must have a strong back and knees. 😆

it does. I can lie in bed and look at it. When I was really ill I could lie on my balcony outside the bedroom. Problem is I can see what needs to be done. I try to do some every day to keep up. Small bird nesting in the summerhouse so have not been able to use it for ages.

knees OK. Left back and left ankle a pain -literally sometimes.

just looks big. In reality the plot is only 3/4 acre.

we had deer coming in until we made the side fence from the front to the back even higher. They were a trial. They still eat the roses etc in the front. Squirrels dig all over the place, resident foxes shit, so what’s the odd visiting dog? Not that your lovely dog is odd.
