Can anyone tell me I've been on Bisoprolol since my heart attack in April 2022 how long does it take for the beta Blocker to start making you feel breathless and lightheaded snd dizzy on exertion also very tired as I've been feeling like it since last November.
My bnp was just over 400 which suggested possible heart failure finally had an echocardiogram done today the technician said my heart looks good but the results need to go to the cardiologist to be evaluated..

Side effects can come on differently for everyone... some get at the start and they wear off, sometimes it doesn't wear off, some become sensitive to the medication and get them later, some don't get at all.
Best thing to do is get the results of your echo and take it from there with your healthcare team.
Those symptoms you describe could be the heart failure because oxygenated blood isn't getting around the body. My only symptom was tiredness & breathlessness after running.
the way it reads is tgat you have not had any side effects other than tiredness. Think yourself lucky , some get the lot.
Tiredness could be the fact you haven’t yet fully recovered.
If all else fails talk yo your doctors.
