Hi guys, in my pursuit of finding what is wrong with me,hope you don’t mind asking questions, just want to add or remove certain possibilities.
It is possible from March since I’ve had my 24h EKG ,they only found Bradycardia, that I’ve developed something else ,like Arrhythmia ? Is that possible in a few months? When I came from my holiday,I’ve getting worse and worse and new symptoms/feelings came to light , so I was wondering is it possible?
thank you,

These things don't usually develop out of nowhere... that being said, I had no detectable arrhythmia until I did... and it was after my myocarditis event so there was a trigger.
Basically, it's really difficult to say without being a doctor who has access to your medical records and is viewing them objectively (i.e. no emotion or anxiety).
Generally though, most people do have ectopics etc but aren't aware of them. Then once we start paying attention to our hearts after a cardiac event, we suddenly become hyper aware of everything it does.
Hi, yeah I know ,I’m trying to find options to see why is my heart rate starting to be so low in the past 4 days. I’m waiting for my second echo results, the cardiologist that did it , said ‘ it doesn’t look so sinister’ but I will have a better look to see what how things are and send the report this morning (so waiting). The only thing that bothers me is the weakness in my body and the low heart rate. So hopefully I can found an answer so I can continue concentrating on my issue and get better.
Your 24 hour ECG would've only picked up exactly what was happening to your heart at the actual time you had the machine on and recording. So, on that basis they have told you that no arrithymia occurred within the 24hr time-period of your ecg, but that bradycardia did occur.
Now hopefully they are following up with investigations to see what is causing the bradycardia!
I know the waiting lists are long for these appointments (as I'm stuck in the queue too!) so in the meantime you need to try not to get too anxious.
Also my understanding & experience is that the low heart rate of bradycardia is likely to make you tired & feel a bit like everything is a lot of effort & leaves you a bit out of puff, & I would suggest that if you did a long haul flight, or went to somewhere hot or to somewhere at high altitude for your holiday that this this may well have helped to leave you feeling worse than you did 3 months ago...I.e. more breathless & more tired. BUT I am not a GP and i really would recommend that if you are really feeling worse now with chest pain, palpitations or breathing difficulties that you please go back to your GP for another review / follow up / check up, rather than becoming anxious about it or trying to guess what may or may not be happening to you.
Hi 1234_6, that is why is probably good to do another one, but it will be difficult, because it was hard getting this one when I was feeling better than now. I will this week how things evolved and if continues to drop while sleeping or jump I will call the GP. She needs to do something about it, she cannot say all the time that I look healthy, strong etc and look all results show that you are OK.
Quick answer: yes! It is possible to develop new types of arrythmias. they could be temporary, or there to stay but nothing can be excluded out right as our ticker is very unpredictable.
If you’re not feeling well and it is different from your usual symptoms or when you had a ecg or the 24 hours tape, better talk about it during your next appointment.
Hi Letsallhope1,thank you for your reply and is good to know that it may be possible, so I can ask my GP what is happening. Last night was the 4th consecutive night that my BPM drop under 40,more exactly 38-39 and I do have during the day (showed in my apple watch) where my heart jumps for a second up,from 65 to 90/110 and then back to normal. I don’t feel anything when this happens, but when should I start talking with my GP,because she is gonna say ,well your last 24 EKG was normal so nothing to worry about it.. so I’m trapped and nothing to do,just wait maybe it will get better or it will get worse.
Hi, I have had very irregular ectopic heartbeats for ages, fell in February, broke arm , kept in cardio 4 days. Just had ablation ydy, was amazing! I was put on bisoprolol to calm beats in feb, but monitors said h b <30, which panicked me. At out pat clinic they said monitors can’t track irregular beats accurately, and under read them. It is a possibility, but it does make you so tired and breathless. Hard, but try not to worry, cos it doesn’t help. Wish you all best, hope you can get some answers soon. Liz
Hi. We have spoken before, at some length I recall.I thought you had come up with a plan of action regarding your situation.
Not sure if you are now not following it up, but noticed you are still posting frequently with lots of it's, what's and why's . . . and a lot of members have tried to help you, best they can.
While its fine to post, you do seem overly focused on variable health tangents, most of which, I don't think we, as members actually have an answer for. These questions are the specifics you need to put directly to your current health providers.
Obviously, it's normal to be concerned, but I think your over anxiety is contributing to your overall level of stress, and this is the last thing on earth that your heart needs right now.
So give yourself a break and try and relax, it will all get sorted out in the end, they always do, but things take the time they take.
Hi Wardija , thank you for your reply, when you are a father with 2 kids, sometimes waiting is not the best outcome. The post that I do and the replies that I’ve received help me ,for example Visigoth- DibriCheck or I can recall the members name regarding a doctor in York I followed him and he says interesting things and one is about low heart rate, when to be in concern or when to seek help. It help to my anxiety/stress especially when my GP is quit difficult regarding my situation.
I do apologise if I bother someone, wasn’t my intention ,but when you can play anymore with your kids or cook or go to movies because you are saving your energy to go to work and not lose your job , you get stress/anxious.
I will stop posting so many questions and again apologises for disturbing someone.
Wish you all the best and hope everyone will get better and keep fighting with what they have so they can prevail.
Absolutely no need to apologise, or not posting, that's not what I'm saying at all, and I know we all have our own ways of "coping" and I certainly don't underestimate you have many demands on your time and energy.Sometimes, too much information, from all over the place, is actually not helpful, or may not even be from a valid source. This can just end up being totally overwhelming and not conducive to your physical and/or mental health.
I was just thinking that if you kept things as simplified as possible and tried to relax your mind a little, until such time that do see your Consultant, things would probably be less stressful for you and your family.
I had ectopics for a long time and then suddenly got bursts of paroxysmal AF, but that was never picked up by any monitor - even 72 hour ones - until I paid privately for a 14 day monitor. In the meantime I had found the FibriCheck app to be very accurate and you can send the readings to your gp or cardio.
