Cardiac or respiratory symptoms ? Going on for almost a week

Since last Thursday I’ve been having lots of left sided chest pain and tightness , feeling more breathless than usual . I did go to ED to be checked over , ecg etc all fine , they ruled out a blood clot so all good . Today I’m still having all the symptoms , having a stitch type pain near to my pacemaker that varies in pain score from 4 to 9/10 (I’ve had pm since 2030 so it’s not as if my pm is settling in ) Managed to get a gp phone appt, she wasn’t overly concerned , I’m waiting to have an exercise stress test as I get really breathless with chest pain on exertion . Just curious if other pm recipients experience these symptoms , trying to ignore the feeling breathless but as it’s ongoing do I just ignore it and carry on . Nothing has changed much but it’s just that it’s not improving .

I know someone who had a pacemaker fitted and he said he got a stitch like pain. He spoke to his consultant and they did something remotely to his pacemaker and he was ok. Could you speak to your cardiologist or as LowerField suggests try the BHF helpline.

have they ruled out pericarditis mine only showed on a cardiac mri your pains sound similar
