Burning feet after heart bypass

It's a few weeks since heart bypass operation for my husband. His feet are fine during the day, but at night he gets burning sensation in his feet (ankles and toes). What can this be?

So pleased your Husband is doing well after his Bypass op

They would have taken a vein from his leg in my case they took one out of each and that does upset all the nerves and takes a while to settle down in fact I have lost some feeling and it has now been nearly 2 years so if he is on he is moving about a lot it could be the after effect later in the day that is causing it

I cannot bit others may think of anything else but I would mention it to either the Rehab Nurses if he has contact with them or his Doctor just so they can check or at least give some reassurance
