I am three weeks post op and just started getting an involuntary breath/breathing shudder every now and again , a bit like when you yawn. It's difficult to explain. Is this normal?Karen

Hello :-)

Someone else posted exactly the same nearly as you the other day about this and I had Bypasses and had this before and still get it now and again now not sure what causes it and I have mentioned it to my Doctors but they never seem concerned

I have a feeling it is maybe one of those things as we say but mention it and see what they say to you when you next speak to them and will be interesting to know what they reply :-) x

It sounds similar to something that occasionally happens to me it’s rare now but still happens, I had my aortic valve replaced in 2005.

Hi

I had AVR last April but don't recall anything like that. If you aren't already in our Facebook group though maybe join and ask in there.
