hi I’m hoping someone can relate to this but I developed pots after a virus and since then I’ve also been having ectopics but I don’t feel the ectopics are all pots related I get them as a result of absolutely everything like anxiety/panic, caffeine, dehydration, low blood sugar, exercise etc I have had heart tests and all of them showed nothing but my ectopics and my heart is quote “perfectly structured” but I’ve noticed before my period is when they’re at their worst and I know this is hormone related but they get awful near my period I have them lots laying down and more standing up sometimes they disappear immediately when my period starts or sometimes they stick around I also get them during and after exercise which is extremely depressing because I am now bedridden and scared to move if anyone else has experienced or does experience this and know anything that helps them please let me know as I’m 18 and this is ruining my life

Hiya,
I've noticed a flare up in some of my symptoms that coincide with my hormone cycles as well... sadly there's been relatively little research done surrounding woman's health so depending on your individual make up and situation, there may be limited options. Having been told it's just my age/hormones/anxiety I don't know how many times with no further support is infuriating... but some doctors are better than others.
I always recommend speaking to your GP, as they will know what options are available. Keep a symptom diary and track along with your cycle to demonstrate what is happening and when.
Try not to let this stop you from living - get out of bed slowly and control your breathing, take things easy. You'll need to learn your limitations and adapt as you improve.
This is me! I've spoken to lots of others with pots / autonomic dysfunction and all of them have said the same things. The week before & the week during my period I'm completely bedbound, GI symptoms become more severe along with dizziness & whatever else decides to throw its hat in the ring to ruin my life . I have no answers for you I'm afraid but this is apparently very common. I noticed this patern pretty quickly after viral illness which led to myocarditis in 2018 ,I have never been right since
