I'm sorry that you are having problems with this and that Milkfairy is not well enough to help

In the meantime, have you tried searching in the group for other posts on this subject or comments by Milkfairy, you might some helpful information there.

I'm afraid that doctors are not always very good at giving us the sort of information we need to help us live with our conditions. It used to be the nursing staff who did a lot of that but now there is too much information for everyone to keep up with. But your Cardiology team should include specialist nurses and other support staff who may be able to offer more info - try checking on the hospital website to see who the team members are and what contact details you can find.

Also the International Heart Spasm Alliance have some helpful info as well as a list of relevant online support groups: internationalheartspasmsall...

Have you tried asking your pharmacist for info and advice about the medication? They are the best place to start for that sort of info as that is their speciality.

My personal suggestion is always: be gentle with yourself and avoid pushing yourself until you have worked out your own limits

Thank you so much for the information. I'm very new to this just trying to remember the limits I am able to do just frustrating.

I find not pushing myself eg walking too far, too fast, up slopes etc and using my GTN spray keeps mine under control. I do have lots of meds for other heart issues, which may help. I’m told that if after two sprays 5 mins apart I still have pain, call an ambulance
