Had 2 stents fitted while i was on holiday didnt declare that at duty free, thought i was very healthy and eat well so a shock. So far still panicing a bit but have returned to work with limited driving but thought i'd join to see what advice i can get from people who've experienced this procedure.

Didn’t declare your stents at duty free?🤔

In a couple of days it’ll be three years since I had four stents inserted - two in an emergency angioplasty and two a week later. The cardiologist told me the next day that in 15 years he had seen a single person survive such a massive HA and that I’d “missed a bullet”.

So, my view. It’s a miraculous procedure that’s given me a new lease of life. The onus is on me now to keep fit and well to enjoy the best and longest life I can.
