Lost after AVR

In February 2022 I was blue lighted into hospital. Had been waiting for an AVR delayed due to Covid. I was told I was dying. Pneumonia and sepsis. I survived. In early March 22 I had the AVR & triple bypass. Then it all went wrong again. Infused coma. 45 days in ICU on a ventilator. Dreams and hallucinations so bad I list touch with reality. Another 6 weeks before discharged. Physically I continue to make progress. Emotionally I’m lost. I have fought so hard. I’m just so tired. I’m sorry most days I survived. Dying is easy. It’s the living that’s hard.
