Hi again . Struggling to make sense of my symptoms. I was just sitting quietly when I started feeling unwell and noticed my heart rate going up from 80 to 108 very rapidly . Terrible headache and some chest pain ,but not severe . As I was told to use Nitro spray only with severe pain ,I did not . I guess the unwell , sick feeling lasted 10 , 15 minutes . I felt awful and very tired . I mentioned before that I did not tolerate Cardizem so now my GP suggested Norvasc . I have low BP tonight it was 106/60 after this episode . I am really scared and stuck . My pulse can go from 52 to 110 in a very short time . My kardia showed normal sinus rhythm. Any advice ?

Sorry to read you've been feeling poorly during the night, I hope that you're feeling better now or at least phoned 111 & got medical advice. I don't think a BP reading of 109/60 isn't anything to worry about, that's not considered too low. But if you're having episodes of fast HR & you're feeling poorly then you should always seek medical advice. Can't help with the medication issue, sorry

hi sorry about how you’re feeling. The reason your blood pressure drops after an episode, as I call them, is because I’ve been told when your heart reverts back to normal your blood pressure drops. Hence light head feeling faint and sometimes feeling nauseous. All symptoms I’ve had. You need to speak to your GP about this. Urgently. I don’t know what that medication is so sorry I can’t help. Like Lezzers said if you can’t get urgent GP appointment call 111.

You've replied to me rather than the OP, I assume he/she will see your reply?
