I've been taking Ramipril 1.25mg for nearly a week. Been noticing blood flow issues with my hands. Sometimes wake with the feeling of slight numbness/pins and needles. Some times during the day, they feel ever so slightly numb. Other times I struggle to warm my hands up.
Has anyone experienced this on Ramipril and will it fade away as my body gets used to it? Gp has ordered blood test to check it out.

That’s a very low dose of Ramipril so it shouldn’t have any severe effects. my GP told me it can take five weeks to get fully in to your system. The blood test will reassure your situation.

Hello there. Well i do sometimes get this problem and i also wonder if its the effects of heart failure itself. I have around 40% ef rate. Impaired LV. But, on the note on ramipril. I was on this when i left the hospital with ef rate of 12% and i was in a pretty bad way. I noticed my hands and feet were stone cold freezing. Probably due to bad heart. But once they changed rampril to entresto, i noticed within a week my extremities warmed up....So, maybe the numbness is heart failure and during the night heart slows down. I literally have got up this morning worried about tingling last night. I also had chest pains but i think maybe trapped wind. Hoping anyway.
