Hello,

Microvascular angina is thought to be caused by the inability of the small blood vessels to dilate in response to extra demands like exercise.

Some people, in particular women experience breathlessness when they have microvascular angina and other types of angina.

Perhaps ask your Cardiologist to review your medication.

The BHF has this information about microvascular angina.
