Ahh no what symptoms you having have you called 111 or done 111 online so you can get a call back from a nurse 🤔

It depends what you want to talk about. If its an emergency then its A&E. If its urgent then its normally your GP, but there are drop in GP centres as well. If its not an emergency or urgent but simply routine then you have to wait until an appointment appears at your GP which may be not until the New Year if my GP practice is anything to go by. And as others have said you could try 111 but be prepared for call backs in the middle of the night or long waits. Personally think the 111 service is rubbish from the times I have used it, but others seemed to have fared better with it, so I hope it works for you if you go there.

i have had excellent service and support from 111 when i urgently needed medical advice, except during peak times of the pandemic, but that was completely understandable

i have used them for myself and on behalf of my mother and father who live over 50 miles away - they have been unfailingly helpful and steered me towards the help and services i or my parents needed

in these days, where out of hours GP services are a thing of the past, they are an invaluable service

i should qualify that by adding that as an ex-nurse i might have a different definition of urgent medical need🙂
