Hello,,, Apologies for not replying to you earlier but I have so much going on I struggle to keep afloat!
PCSK9 inhibitors are newish drug used when statins are not enough or when there is a genuine intolerance to all statins (rarer than is made out) so that LDL cholesterol remains raised. One condition they are used for is FM (familial hypercholesterolaemia) an inherited condition that causes very elevated cholesterol levels. The link below is to a BHF writeup.
