hi ,im new here and diagnosed previously with paraxamol AF , the last 6 weeks it has raised its ugly headdaily and nightly ,drs upped my daily and evening meds but to no avail ,in and out for approx 5,2 weeks ,now yesterday i woke up with AF approx 07.30am and that dreaded sinking feeling came ovee me ,since then been in Af and just been released from hospital today as they think i have gone into persistant AF and sent me home. Any advise please welcome.

hi, yes go back to your doctor, drink water, less salt. I ended up with a pacemaker.
Really sorry to hear that, I also have paroxysmal AF and know how awful it can make you feel. I have found the book 'The AFIB Cure' by cardiologists John Day and Jared Bunch helpful for understanding underlying causes and possible triggers of episodes, some lifestyle factors that may help reduce frequency of attacks and clear explanations of treatment options. Would suggest go back to your GP for cardiology referral if that's not already happened via the hospital to ensure your treatment is optimised.
