any one else had sinus arrest? And what treatment did you have following it? Have a heart loop fitted and received a call Monday to say my heart stopped for 5.5 seconds. Awaiting a call from cardiologist on what the plan is moving forwards. I was originally diagnosed with inappropriate sinus tachycardia as my heart is often going way to fast. This is the first time I had my heart stop.

I’ve been through a similar experience with 5 second pauses. It’s really scary. Now that your doctors have a record of what’s going on I would expect that you will be recommended to have a pacemaker fitted as soon as possible. For me it has solved the problem and two years later all is good.

Best of luck with it…
