Iv read, and read a heck of a lot posts on here since I joined a year ago.

but what pleases the most is the lovely messages and support people have for each other.

I have had some great comforting and reassuring advice this last 12 months from members on here and I think that’s why I’m coping better with my AFIB.

you can only get real understanding and advice from people who are going through the same.

I thank you,x

Ron,

You all certainly are.👍

Dear Ron

We need you just as much as you need us, it works well,

You are a very important piece of the heart journeys that are recorded here that others have traveled before you and unfortunately others have yet to start on.

Our experience will help you and in time yours will help others if that is what you choose to do.

Above all it just reminds us that we are not alone

Take care

Kevin

It’s the we are not alone bit that matters isn’t it.👍

Yes I really believe it is the key to most things, physically and mentally, you can live alone and not feel alone, you can live in the middle of a festival of people and yet feel the loneliest individual on the planet.

I believe that shock can bring on this phenomenon { along with other things } and thats one path that we have all walked, and some still are.

Take care

Morning

Can I just echo what as been said, when I joined the forum there was less than 5000 members and now over 37000, over the years I have had so much help and support, and hope I have helped a little too. Apart from being members of the Hearties family we are a family. I have had a difficult year nothing to do with my heart but the help and support I received as been unbelievable.

So long may this forum continue with people who care about each other.

Best wishes Pauline

I agree, have received wonderful support from the group. The Hearty Club may not be one that we all wanted to belong to but now we’re here, not of our choosing, we’re all doing what we can to help each other through.

We understand the fears, the uncertainty and the courage.

A wonderful group Xx

I totally agree, I have only just joined this group after being diagnosed with heart failure. To say I was scared is an understatement. I have only written one post so far, but I have learned so much just reading others posts. I now feel much better about my situation, I really thought I was going to die, but I am now on medication that is making me feel so much better, so thanks to everyone.

Wow, fantastic and wonderfully supportive comments from our fellow hearties.

The thing is, when we are troubled with our different yet similar events, it isolates us....why me, am I just unlucky could I have avoided this, have I deserved this? The thing is all of this is right and wrong simultaneously!

These things happen, to good, normal everyday people, sometimes s**t happens, no-ones fault, our bodies sometimes just go faulty, I've said before 'deserves' has nothing to do with it.

But the good normal everyday people on this platform 'are' the difference. They listen, understand, possibly the only ones who truly can, and they reassure. They say you're not alone, you can get through this, talk to us, we'll hear you...and they do.

As long as we can share our successes as well as our fears and understandings we will be be,,,, ok

Take care all
