Heart attack -svt- ectopic heartbeat combo

Hi I'm 42 years old male. Was healthy and fit. Almost 4 months ago I got ha and had 5 stents. According to the doc I also got SVT. After angioplasty I still got SVT episodes pretty bad and still had to go to ER and it happened for couple months. But after the med and after I can control my anxiety and sleep better my SVT so far is well controlled but now I had ectopic heart beat everyday that deals like a bit thump in your heart ,it doesn't hurt even a bit, but it does cause me thinking what went wrong again. Is it the med or the anxiety or my heart still not heal? Does anyone In here ever had this ectopic heartbeat regularly after angioplasty procedure?

You say you were healthy and fit. Obviously you weren't- you just didn't know. I hope you were given advice on diet, exercise, smoking etc and are following it. It takes a while for your body to get used to the tablets but a lot of your symptoms should settle down given time. One of the most common causes of ectopic beats that you describe is anxiety so get yourself some counselling for that. YOu don't need to go via a GP you can find self referral online. Try the "Mind" website to start with. I've had ectopics for many years. They have checked which part of the heart they come from and mine are quite harmless. Why not find out if your GP has any report that explains them. You can also use the search box on here to find allthe posts about ectopics. There are hundreds.

Thx qualipop, it good to hear someone else can manage this heart prob. The GP did give explanation what diet I should do and I began to try follow it day by day. I don't smoke, consume ilegal drug nor drink alcohol even before ha. The SVT episode happened for couple month before really became serious mental issues, and you are right it's the anxiety that trigger it.tookme 4 time to er and have to stay the 2 days each. Now that I'm calmer, sleep better, exercises, it's doesn't happened again but now it turned to this thumping sensation every now and then. Do you think it can goes by its own as time goes by while the heart is stronger. Cause I still took 5 different drugs everyday for the remaining 5 months.

I've no idea about SVT I'm sorry. I know the palpitations/ ectopic beats can go away if they are caused by anxiety but I wouldn't expect to come off the tablets
