Hiya Roger here just to say i saw a cardiac nurse at hospital this week had ECG blood pressure wound & lungs checked All good 😃 Have Appt to see cardiologist on Aug 2 nd starting rehab exercise classes in a couple of weeks Im walking 5000/10000 steps a day including slopes ( lots of them in the New Forrest !) my chest still hurts especially at night & the prickly feelings are awful Nurse suggested a capisan ( ?) cream but iv not found it yet Thanks to all who replied to my worried wife s posts The support has been a great help In other news iv been discharged from the prostate cancer clinic so thats thankful for ! My heart will be put to the test when Spurs start the new session as there will be many anxious moments 😅

What an uplifting and inspiring post and written by your fair hand? Bet that amazingly supportive wife was over your shoulder watching you.

Fantastic news about your recovery on both parts, the heart and the prostrate. The pair of you have certainly been through the mill and I can only pray that the experiences have brought you even stronger together.

Well done on getting a place on the rehab group, unfortunately I could not join one until this pacemaker settles in { whatever that means }

I cannot understand how Spurs could raise an eyebrow let alone your heart rate LOL { this is coming from a Millwall supporter } but whatever raises it thank God it can now cope with it, just don’t hold your breath !

Yes we are all good including our sons partner whose brain tumour shows no sign of returning at the mo according to recent MRI

Capsaicin cream is supposed to help with nerve pain. It burns a bit when you put it on. It's made from capsicums. Never helped me but I do have rather more problems with spinal pain.

I am so happy to hear that you are feeling/doing better! That truly warms my heart. I was one of the many people who replied to your good wife’s posts and who said my prayers for your recovery. It sounds like you are going strong at up to 10,000 steps per day. You make me realize that I need to step up my own exercise routine and you have given me new incentive to walk more.

I pray that you continue to get stronger each day also, please say “hello” to your wife and I hope that she is doing well!

Thanks our sons partner Charlotte also had good news re her brain tumour MRI it shows no sign of returning at the moment 💕✝️ Her daughters aged 1& 3. have bought us so much joy during these recent times Roger ( & Lesley
