Back in coronary care today

Well another day back in CCU today. I felt rough yesterday and during the night I had 2 episodes of sharp chest pain which were eased with gtn not like my post bypass pain anyway back to sleep but when I woke up this morning I felt dizzy and rough today is day 17 post quadruple by pass, so back to hospital to make sure everything was ok. I spent the day there my ecg was normal but my trop levels were very high indicating ? MI but at the end of the day they have sent me home saying although the levels are high they are not increasing which means my bypasses are working well so if it were an MI no other treatment is required but if I get the pains to go back again.

If this was an MI is this the one that would have killed me glad I got the bypass first😁😁 guess we will never know.

Sorry you found yourself back in the Hospital but you did the right thing and they seem happy enough after giving you a check over

Hi Jako,Sorry to hear about your set back, but hospital is the only place to get ‘peace of mind’

And your home now, they wouldn’t have let you home, if they thought there was any danger.

Todays another day, keep well, take it easy, and try& forget what might have been, it’s hard! Onward and upward!!!
