Dse test?

Hi has anyone had a dse test before? I had an angiogram Mon and one of my arteries is slightly narrowed at the bottom of my heart so he's referred me for this to see how my heart copes with stress @ excersise? Already had a ha 3 yrs ago and 3 stents in now 😔

Yes I have had a DSE test { Dobutamine Stress Echocardiogram} and the procedure is interesting to say the lest.

I had no pain other than the cannula being put in, you are told every stage of the test and I only had the chemical stress { both echocardiogram and MRI } and not exercise as my heart/body at the time was not up to it.

When you get the chemical injected it is fair to say that you will notice it but by the time your mind questions the feelings they are injecting you with an antidote to it.

I was told off like a naughty boy and accused of having caffeine before the test as I needed a larger dose to get the results they needed. I promise you that I had not but watching the nurses eyes roll I could tell that she did not believe me.

Before you know it you will be on your way home, you will have to have someone with you as I was not allowed to drive.

The worry part is normal, but it is also a fascinating procedure which when done can give them so much information, I will be thinking of you.
