HF medication - Can an increase in meds causing an increase in blood pressure?

I’m on Ramipril and Bisoprolo. Started on 1.25mg of both two weeks ago and doubled the dose as instructed yesterday and my pulse has dropped about 15 to 20bpm and my blood pressure has increased! I wasn’t expecting that!

Has this happened to anyone else? Has any one any idea why this would happen?
