Lately I have a dream where I'm not able to breath out...and struggle to wake up...it's terrifying..and I now am afraid to sleep...is this to do with my lung condition? If so what can I do to stop this?

You could try checking out blf.org.uk - in addition to information on the site about copd they also have a helpline 03000 030 555.
I would go and see your GP at least you can stop worrying and sleep

Thank you for replying unfortunately my doctor is of no help..never seems to have time!!!
You may benefit from counselling, talking through your dreams and fears with a trained therapist. You can access this through the NHS, and don't always need to go through your GP.
