At my last research Appt the Researcher mentioned that it’s now NICE authorised to use clinically with certain categories of patients. You can see above or ask your GP if you qualify for it.
It’s involves two injections a year, instead of taking daily statins, and has a different action.
The international study I am on is with 15,000 people who have a cardiac history, and I am now three years into a five year study.
As it’s double bind I don’t know if I am on the placebo or active drug.

Have read your post with great interest {and who taking statins wouldn’t} and I thank you for being a volunteer in getting this drug fully tested.
If its done blind how do they make sure that the ones taking the placebo are covered for the full affects of a statin { as we know that they are just not for cholesterol} ?
We continue taking our original pills, including statins. Then Inclisiran or placebo are assigned randomly. We don’t know which we have been given.Hope that answers?
