Well unsure of the rest but while on, No 7 was the North West Mounted Police then later when given the title 'Royal' then became the Royal North West Mounted Police but today is more known as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. My head hurts now ha ha.

They were actually the Mounted Rifles before they became Mounted Police. These days the horses are ceremonial only sadly. Snowmobiles aren't the same!

1. I don't think it was Botany Bay. That's where Captain Cook landed. Later the convicts landed in Sydney harbour. Not answering the other questions, just adding my bit as an Australian.
