Unexplained symptom

I suffer from multiple conditions including HT and CAD. In recent weeks I feel something abnormal in middle of my chest best way I can explain it is pressing/winded type of pain which feels I,m going to pass out but only last for less than a minute. I’ve tried to explain to my gp she referred to for a echo but results came back with my ongoing conditions she referred me back to the cardiologist. Has anyone experienced anything similar. Thanks

I think you really need to have a good chat with the cardiologist. Any chest pain needs investigating and GP is quite right to refer you back to heart team. It’s all right for the rest of us to say try not to worry … you will be concerned and that’s normal…. But try not to overdo things in the meantime. Be good to yourself and … make a wee bullet list of questions for your cardiologist …. We only get to see them after what can seem like a long wait !! Best to be prepared …. Take care of yourself 🙋‍♀️

That’s great news. I’m in Scotland and Cardio Team are never in touch … GP is unhappy that I’ve never been checked since heart attack. I’m glad you’re getting seen and that they listen to you. Take care still though 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
