Hi, Does anyone have any experience with LV Thrombus after a heart attack. I had a major STEMI on 25th Oct and and at 6 weeks Echo a Thrombus was noticed and I was put on Apixaban. Last week I had a Cardiac MRI and the Thrombus was still present attached to the wall. Its been little over 3 months and the thrombus is still present. The cardiologist advised that I need to continue with Apixaban and and maybe indefinitely. The good news is my EF post HA was 30-35% has moved to 42%.
