I want to keep this short because how do you express 2 years in a post.
BUT, I was told that the two top chambers in my heart aren't working as they should be. So after a while, I finally have an answer. And I've realised that I am struggling to do the most basic activities so I need some help.
What would you suggest? I've tried PIP but the doctors tried charging £50 for my details. And I am -£70 in my bank account so THAT isn't happening. Are there any benefits or initiatives that can help people with heart failure?
Any suggestions are welcome! Love to you all

Hi I received PIP when I was diagnosed with heart failure, I got help filling in the form from an advice center run by my local council, it's a free service (I live in Scotland) the citizens advice bureau also have a free service to help with this , there is also lots of online help. I would recommend going to one of these places as the form can be tricky because of the way some of the questions are worded. I did not need to pay anyone at all or contact my doctor, I sent evidence using my hospital letters and I had a home visit from an assessor. I would definitely apply for this benefit if you are struggling with daily needs and mobility, if there is anything else you want to know please don't hesitate to ask. Take care char
Hi, definitely put in for pip as already been said you can get help. You don't need the doctors letter you will have your hospital referrals. It's a hard slog getting pip don't be disheartened at the time it takes. Go for it x Sheena x
