Yes, I've got one of those.

If you have AF then maybe there's an argument for it, but most of us don't have AF, so it's a complete waste of time and money!

PS I re-read what I wrote and it sounds too glib. It's a superbly engineered piece of kit that's simple to operate and accurate. However, there are lots of other self diagnostic tools out there, from real time blood sugar monitors to smart watch heart rate recorders. If you're on a budget then think hard about which of al these gizmos you really need. Not having AF my AKG Monitoring now sits in a drawer unused!

Good luck!

It's an excellent piece of kit and well worth it, lots on the AF forums use them.

The Kardia can be very useful to monitor atrial fibrillation.

The support group Arrthymia Alliance has some further information.

Wow that’s £20 cheaper than it is on amazon thank you x

Also the profit goes to the Arrthymia Alliance rather than Amazon 😊

I've had mine for 5yrs now, wouldn't be without it. So easy to buzz report on to your Cardiologist/EP and fir them to have a look at what's going on. X

My husband has one of these and had Af He has had cardiversion and so far so good

But we live in Lincoln and his cardiologist is at the Royal Brompton

But he has done recordings on this and sent them to the Brompton who had said yes to send them and they are one of the better ones

Read his recordings and understood the readings at the hospital

Been very useful during this covid19 as we have had mainly telephone conversations

😃

After a few years of playing cat and mouse trying to pick up episodes of arrhythmia with loop recorders and Holter’s my cardiologist recommended getting one of these.

Couple of weeks later I managed to capture a run of SVT with it which I then emailed over to him which got the ball rolling for Ablation and I have been great since. Definitely gets my recommendation and sometimes they appear on eBay at good prices.

Really pleased to hear the medics have finally realised what a brilliant piece of kit this is. I had a very difficult time trying to get my paroxysmal AF diagnosed and it was only the evidence from the kardia that clinched it. Worth every penny.
