I have the phone number of the cardio department that fitted my ICD in case I have any problems. Can you not contact yours? (I can't offer any other suggestions as my monitor is a different make.)

Show a pic of the back of the device. Is the dongle plugged in mine was the same at first because they never gave me the dongle. They showed me the box compleat with every thing in it. Then took every thing out except the monitor and sent me home with just the box and monitorI got the same result as you when I tried to use it

Yep dongle is plugged I'm I've unplugged it all plugged it back in still same not tried this morning but someone did say to me that it could of been because of a limit on interrogations sent or also a download my anxious stupid brain jus kicks in to panic mode and I start thinking the device has an issue icd anxiety

There is a small green light on the dongle it should be flashing all the time. If it is not you have a fault somewhere

Looks like your ICD is not connecting with the monitor - There is a small white button on then back the machine that you can press and see what is happening . We had a similar problem. The pacing clinic changed the dongle apparently often at fault. but the machine might need re-calibrating with the ICD.

Phone your contact at the hospital it sounds like you are trying to do a manual download when it is not needed. If the green light is on and The dongle is flashing it seems as though it is working ok. The hospital should have it programmed to automatically request the download at set intervals is 3 months or 6 months. But phone the dept who look after you to put your mind at rest

The hospital will call you if it's not downloading properly. Did they tell you to download it weekly? I got a call from my pacing clinic to say "stop doing your own downloads, if your heart is in trouble, the monitor will pick it up and let us know".

PS Don't the yellow flashes simply mean it IS downloading?

Call the team that put the icd in. The nurse can walk you through it
