Hi guys does any one here have one of these fitted? If so I’m after some advice.
I can feel it in my chest and it feels quite spongy. Is this normal? Also can you have a chest x ray with one of these installed?
Thanks guys

Hi - I have one fitted. You are ok to have a chest x-ray, just mention it when they x-ray you.
When you say feels 'spongy', is that spongy to the touch?
When did you have it fitted?
I have had one since 2018…I always tell them and at the airport also. Yes the sponginess is body tissue/fat. I found it took a while to get used too, and I occasionally get a dull ache at the site.🙏🏼
Hi, I had a reveal loop recorder inserted in 2017. It is OK to have xrays as I have had or CT and echocardiogram. However before MRI they will download any information on it. If you ever travel abroad you should have a card stating you have a loop recorder in as you cannot go through the body scanner at passport control. I forget mine is there now. Hope this helps
I’m due to have one implanted can you tell me what it feels like and does it hurt?
Hi. It doesn’t hurt it’s just sensitive for a little while.
