Hi,I am only on 10mgs of atorvastatin but I am getting upper backache just doing things about the house brings it on have to go and sit down till it goes off,any help please.

Hi Radars, I was put on 80mg a day of Atorvastatin 6 months ago following a heart attack....I had all sorts of aches and pains with it, felt like terrible indigestion.I spoke to my GP who put me into 40mg of Simvastatin, problem all but went after a few days.
We all react to different statins differently, if the pains persist I'd speak to your GP.
Hi Radars, it might not be the statin, but if you think it is, why not try not taking it for a few days. Check with your Dr first, don't take my advice.
