Stopped taking nebilet and Candesartan for about a week and my hr is still low...

So I just have stopped taking both nebilet and Candesartan for about a week but my resting HR is around 50 - 55.

However, once I eat white rice and fish, my HR goes up to 80-90 for about 30mins until it goes down to around 60 - 75 that lasts around another 1 hour.

But after 2 hour in total or more it drops back down the the 50 - 55.

By the way, I'm 24 years old, 104kg and was diagnosed with stage 2 hypertension a year ago when my weight was around 130kg

When can I expect for my low HR to come back up again to the normal range?

It's been 7 - 8 days since I last taken both medications. Can I expect my HR to go up again after being on these medications for a year?

The problem I suffer from such a low HR is when I wanna lie down on my bed, trying to get some sleep but feel suffocated and manual breathing due to my resting heart rate dropping to 43bpm. Will this problem resolve soon?

Hello :-)

Medications can take a few weeks before they fully start doing the job they are meant to do

If by then you are still having problems I would see your Doctor again and talk to them about it

If you keep feeling so tired and unwell or your symptoms get worse then talk to them sooner :-)

I hope everything settles down for you soon :-) x

Is it normal for my resting heart rate to still be very low after a week of no beta blockers (nebilet)?

When I do exercise, everything is well and my hr stays within 60 - 90 for at least 2 hours until going below 50 - 60 whilst awake and 40 - 48 whilst lying down awake

I have to be honest and say I am not sure

Others that see you post might know the answer :-)

But if you are in any doubt then ask your Doctor , they have all your medical History and know what they expect it to be :-) x
